At least ten promising music video producers and directors will
benefit from a social impact campaign initiated by the 3Music Awards and
powered by HD+ to amplify the need for more professional and thought leadership
training in the music and entertainment industry.
The 5-day music video workshop, under the Music for Good Campaign, will offer world-class training to Ghanaian music video producers and directors on videography, entrepreneurship and business management. It is the first of several endeavours initiated this year by the 3Music Awards to commit and invest in all accessories of music show business.
“The art of quality videography is essential to music-making, marketing, and show business globally. To remain competitive in the market, videographers need to constantly train and grow their skills. This is crucial to maintaining relevance in a dynamic and rapidly evolving video-making industry, as well as keeping up with its changing demands. Thanks to HD+, this workshop will be a real game-changer.” Edward Owusu, commercial director for 3Media Networks told www.3music.tv.
The workshop scheduled for March at the 3Music Awards HQ will offer participants the opportunity to train under experts of the craft in an engaging environment.
"Delivering world class TV viewing experiences is the hallmark of the HD+ brand and through the 3Music industry development program, we look forward to sharing the technical expertise required to inspire innovation in budding video directors and producers so they can churn out the requisite quality of videos essential for Ghanaian artistes to compete at the global stage," Adelaide Ahovy Abbiw-Williams, Head of Marketing for SES HD PLUS said.
Apart from earning certificates, participants will get the chance to produce a music video which will be premiered on the night of the 5th Annual 3Music Awards.
