Chief Kellz, the frontman for indie Ghanaian label Bloodline Recordings, BLR, is set to release his first single of the year titled Never Going Back which features label mate A-Clipse and Kwe on 10th May 2023.
Chief Kellz
According to him, Never Going Back is the background music to a young hustler’s self-elevation to success. "When you come from where we came from and you make some change or try to change your situation, the only thing ringing in your mind constantly is to never go back to how things used to be."
A-Clipse
This song was produced by PsykoWorldwide with guest verses from BLR flagship artiste Chief Kellz and the critically acclaimed Lyrical frontman A-Clipse. The carefully put-down lyrics show you what these young rappers think about, where they came from, their focus on the good things the future holds and their determination to never regress. "Young hustler, you may fall back like every soldier but you bounce back harder with more knowledge and experience."
Kwe
Never Going Back is an ode to progression and the best things in life, a sonic reminder to keep up the pace and never slack in the pursuit of success.
The song's release will be across all streaming platforms.
