Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy has announced plans to host the inaugural Burna Boy Festival in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from December 21 to 25, 2024.
The event, which promises to bring together music lovers from around the world, will feature a star-studded lineup of artistes, with Burna Boy extending an open invitation to fellow musicians to join the celebration.
During an instagram live session, Burna Boy expressed his excitement about the festival, emphasizing that it will be a grassroots event, independent of government support. He also reassured artistes that they will be fairly compensated for their performances.
While the festival aims to unite music enthusiasts and celebrate Burna Boy's achievements, the event's success relies on the government's provision of security measures.
