Christian Combs is quite busy right now. Diddy's son finished 2022 on a high note with the release of his song CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP ft. Kodak Black, which remains popular on platforms like TikTok. The song, which samples RAIN DANCE by The Jeff Lorber Fusion, was released towards the close of the year and quickly went viral. Christian Combs and Diddy became the first father-son duo to top two charts at the same time. Needless to say, there was enough to be grateful for during the holidays.
At this point, it appears that Christian Combs will be focusing more than ever on his rap career. The success of CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP enabled him to move forward. However, it's possible that we won't only see him rap this year. Combs appears to be expanding his acting repertoire, and his most recent appearance was on one of the year's most anticipated shows.
Combs is Diddy's spitting image, so it seems likely that he will play his dad on television at some point. WU TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA premiered its third and final season this week. Fans were taken aback when they saw Christian Combs play his father in the show, especially because the role had been mainly kept under wraps. Nonetheless, many were thrilled to see Combs take on the part and thought he did an excellent job. His presence as his father follows his response to rumors of being a "nepo baby."
While many celebrity children objected to the term, Combs appeared to accept it in stride. During an altercation with TMZ, he lashed out at individuals who believe his success was inherited rather than earned. “Heavy is the head that wears the crown. We’ve got a big legacy to fill. Right now? Bad Boy? We number one!” he said. “We gonna take the legacy far, Bad Boy for life… Can’t stop, won’t stop, never stop. Just stop hating! That’s it.” Check Combs as Diddy above.
