Elizabeth Olsen, known for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has indicated that she will not be appearing in the upcoming films Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Olsen mentioned that she is currently focusing on other projects, including working on a new FX series pilot titled SEVEN SISTER.

However, fans have expressed skepticism regarding her statements, noting that Marvel actors often keep their involvement in future projects confidential. Some believe that the Scarlet Witch’s significant role in the MCU makes her absence from these major films unlikely.

While Olsen has expressed openness to returning to the MCU if presented with a compelling storyline, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has hinted at the character’s potential return, the exact status of Scarlet Witch’s involvement in future films remains uncertain.

Fans will likely have to wait until the release of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, scheduled for 2026 and 2027 respectively, to see if the Scarlet Witch makes an appearance.
