 The dynamic entrepreneurial landscape of Ghana was in the spotlight on October 5 as Impact Hub Accra hosted the event titled Germany Meets Ghana: Exploring the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.This initiative, organized by AiDiA and backed by the Ministry of Science, Research, Equality, and Districts of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, was a notable occasion featuring a visit from Hamburg’s Second Mayor and Science Senator, Katharina Fegebank.

This groundbreaking event aimed to foster collaboration between leading female entrepreneurs, political figures, university leaders, and scientists from both Hamburg and Ghana. Attendees were treated to a series of engaging panel discussions that highlighted the challenges and triumphs faced by female founders in today’s dynamic business landscape.

The CEO and Co-founder of COMESO, Gloria Niiquaye emphasized the importance of international cooperation in promoting gender equality and entrepreneurship as part of the SDG’s. Women are key drivers of innovation and economic growth. By sharing our experiences and resources, we can empower each other to reach new heights.



The panels featured inspiring stories from successful female entrepreneurs who shared their journeys, insights, and strategies for overcoming obstacles in their respective fields. Participants had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, network with industry leaders, and explore potential collaborations that could benefit both countries.

The Impact Hub Accra buzzed with energy as attendees connected over shared passions and aspirations. The event not only showcased the entrepreneurial talent present in Ghana but also reinforced the significance of global partnerships in fostering innovation.

As the day concluded, attendees left with renewed motivation and a commitment to supporting one another in their entrepreneurial journeys. The success of GERMANY MEETS GHANA serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the potential for transformative change when diverse voices come together.
