Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards 2024 Launched on September 5th

The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards, a new initiative recognizing celebrities and brands for their contributions to social change, was officially launched on September 5th, 2024, at Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall. The awards aim to honor those who use their influence to address societal issues and inspire others to engage in community development.

The nomination process opened the same day and will run until October 5th, 2024, inviting submissions for individuals and organizations that have made a substantial impact. A jury will review these nominations, with the shortlisted celebrity nominees subjected to both public and academy voting, while organizations will be judged by the academy alone. 

The awards scheme will feature several key events, including the Official Launch and Grand Ball on March 29th, 2025, a Women Speaker Conference on April 26, 2025, and the Main Awards Ceremony on May 24, 2025, where winners will be announced. The initiative will culminate in a series of CSR projects to be undertaken by the Ultimate Celebrity of the Year awardees.
