Ghana’s World Cup Jersey Ranked Best Among 48 Nations

Ghana’s Kwaku Ananse-inspired jersey for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been ranked the best jersey among all 48 participating nations by British newspaper The Times.

In its review of World Cup kits ahead of the tournament, The Times placed Ghana’s home shirt at the top of its rankings, ahead of football powerhouses Brazil, England, and Germany, praising the design’s distinctive appearance and visual appeal.

The recognition places Ghana’s jersey above some of the most iconic kits in international football and adds to the growing global attention surrounding the Black Stars ahead of the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Ghana kit, produced by sportswear manufacturer Puma, features design elements inspired by the country’s cultural identity and heritage. Since its unveiling, the jersey has attracted positive reactions from supporters both at home and abroad.

The Times’ ranking assessed kits from all 48 nations taking part in the expanded World Cup, which will be the largest in the competition’s history.
