Fans of the hit Netflix series Ginny & Georgia can mark their calendars: Season 3 is set to premiere on June 5th, 2025. The upcoming season will pick up immediately after the dramatic events of the Season 2 finale, where Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) was arrested for murder during her wedding reception.
In the Season 2 conclusion, Georgia’s past actions caught up with her as she was taken into custody for the death of Cynthia’s husband, Tom. This arrest occurred just moments after she exchanged vows with Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), leaving her children, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), in shock.
Season 3 will delve into the repercussions of Georgia’s arrest on her family and the Wellsbury community. First-look images reveal Georgia behind bars and her children in a courtroom setting, suggesting a legal battle ahead.
Brianne Howey, who portrays Georgia, has hinted at significant and controversial developments for her character in the upcoming season. She described a particular move by Georgia as “pretty big” and “hard to get behind,” indicating that viewers can expect complex moral dilemmas and intense drama.
Series creator Sarah Lampert emphasized that the events leading to Georgia’s arrest were planned from the beginning and promises that Season 3 will delve deeper into the characters’ complexities, showcasing “a lot of grit and hustle.”
Ginny & Georgia has garnered a dedicated fanbase since its debut, praised for its blend of drama, humor, and exploration of complex family dynamics. With the new season’s release date approaching, viewers are eager to see how the Miller family navigates the challenges ahead.
Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia will be available for streaming on Netflix starting June 5th, 2025.
