Janet Jackson to Be Honored with ICON Award and Deliver Electrifying Performance at 2025 AMAs

Global music legend Janet Jackson will be celebrated with the prestigious ICON Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, set to air live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Memorial Day, May 26. The 58-year-old superstar, an 11-time AMA winner, is being recognized for her profound cultural and global influence across five decades in the music industry, joining an elite group of past recipients like Rihanna in 2013 and Lionel Richie in 2022. Jackson will also mark her triumphant return to television with her first televised performance since 2018, promising a high-energy showcase of her timeless hits, as announced by CBS and Dick Clark Productions.

Jackson’s illustrious career, which includes over 180 million records sold, five Grammy Awards, and a 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, has redefined pop and R&B with landmark albums like CONTROL, RHYTHM NATION 1814, and JANET.
