Global girl group KATSEYE is poised to make waves with their second EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, slated for release on June 27 via HYBE x Geffen Records. The project follows the group’s viral single GNARLY and their acclaimed debut EP SIS, which topped Billboard’s Emerging Artistes Chart. The six-member ensemble, Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae shared their excitement on social media, stating, “We are so excited to invite you into this beautiful and chaotic world that we have built. Thank you for being here.” The EP promises to explore the complexities of modern girlhood, blending diverse genres to reflect the group’s evolving artistry and multicultural identity.

BEAUTIFUL CHAOS is described as a bold departure from the softer pop tones of their debut, embracing high-energy dance and hyperpop influences. GNARLY, released on April 30, 2025, offers a glimpse into this sonic shift, with electronic beats and distorted vocals that have sparked both intrigue and acclaim among fans.

According to the group’s official website, the project celebrates “confusion” and the creative chaos of pushing artistic boundaries, featuring five tracks crafted with industry heavyweights like Justin Tranter, Andrew Watt, and John Ryan. The EP’s cover art, showcasing the members on vintage cars and in a vibrant fruit market, underscores its dynamic and eclectic aesthetic.

Formed through HYBE and Geffen’s The Debut: Dream Academy and chronicled in Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, the group aims for timeless impact. In a joint statement, KATSEYE expressed their ambition: “We want KATSEYE to be timeless and to have a lasting influence. Not just for now but, we want forever.”

With their diverse backgrounds and rigorous K-pop training, the group is redefining global pop. Pre-orders and pre-saves are live, and fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be KATSEYE’s most ambitious project yet, blending raw emotion with boundary-breaking creativity.
