Kendrick Lamar Celebrates Juneteenth with Star-Studded Pop Out Concert

Kendrick Lamar held a special Juneteenth celebration concert, The Pop Out: Ken & Friends, at the Kia Forum on June 19th, 2024. The event marked his first major performance since his publicized feud with Drake.

The Compton-born rapper performed his Drake diss tracks, EUPHORIA, LIKE THAT and NOT LIKE US, live for the first time, to the excitement of the sold-out crowd. The set list also featured songs from his critically acclaimed album DAMN and other solo tracks.

Joining Kendrick Lamar on stage were fellow Black Hippy collective members Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q, adding to the evening's energy. In a surprise appearance, Dr. Dre also joined Lamar for performances of STILL D.R.E. and California Love.

The concert was proved Kendrick Lamar's continued influence and impact on the music industry. Despite recent controversies, his dedication to his craft and connection with his fans remain unwavering. The Juneteenth celebration was a fitting occasion for Kendrick Lamar to showcase his talent and unite the community through music.
