Florida rapper Kodak Black had some thoughts to share in his recent livestream about the 6God months after the release of the latter’s collaborative album HER LOSS with Atlanta rapper 21 Savage.
In a clip shared by Black, the
rapper is heard telling a supposed fan who speaks on his expectations of his
collaboration with the Canadian rapper, “it isn’t something that will
materialize soon” because of a joint project that has yet to materialize.
Although the two artistes have a working history and have been known to regularly praise one another’s efforts, he seems to have a problem with Drake and his recent collaboration mainly stemming from his standing beef with 21 Savage since his comments about Nas and negative comments about his album sales.
This comes after Kodak previously
teased multiple songs with Drake and an earlier suggestion that an album from
the two was on the way.
In reference to his grievance he commented, “I had told Drake I don’t wanna do no collab, no songs or no album. Cause we supposed to done did a whole album before him a lil’ buddy, before him and lil’ buddy did that sh*t. I had told him I wanted to wait until like, 2023. Like, after February.”
Fans are still hopeful for a project from the two artistes taking into consideration their fondness for each other.
