Linkin Park, the iconic rock band, has announced their relaunch with a new lead singer, Emily Armstrong, and a brand-new single, THE EMPTINESS MACHINE. This marks the band's first new music in seven years, and fans are eagerly anticipating their upcoming eighth studio album, FROM ZERO set to release on November 15.

The relaunch comes after a tumultuous period for the band, following the tragic passing of their beloved frontman, Chester Bennington, on 20th July, 2017. The remaining members, Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, Joe Hahn, and Rob Bourdon, took time to grieve and reflect on their future.

After exploring various creative avenues, the band decided to continue their journey with a new lead singer, Emily Armstrong, known for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. Armstrong's addition brings a fresh energy to the band's signature sound.

The new single, THE EMPTINESS MACHINE showcases the band's evolution while maintaining their distinctive style. The song's themes of hope, resilience, and self-discovery resonate deeply with fans.

Linkin Park's relaunch has sparked both excitement and controversy. Some fans have welcomed the new chapter, while others have expressed skepticism and loyalty to Chester Bennington's memory.

Jamie Bennington, Chester's son, has publicly expressed his disapproval of the relaunch, stating that the band should have remained dormant out of respect for his father. However, the band members have emphasized their commitment to honoring Chester's legacy while forging a new path.

Despite the mixed reactions, Linkin Park is moving forward with their upcoming album and tour. The six-date arena tour, starting on September 11 in Inglewood, California promises to deliver high-energy performances and a renewed sense of purpose.

As Linkin Park embarks on this new chapter, fans can expect a reinvigorated sound, thought-provoking lyrics, and a continued commitment to their signature blend of nu-metal, rock, and hip-hop. The relaunch marks a new era for the band, one that balances nostalgia with innovation and creativity.
