Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Releases Press Statement On Demise Of Christian Atsu

Following the news of the demise of Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu, the ministry of foreign affairs has released a press statement suggestive of arrangements being made to transport the remains of the player to Ghana. 


According to the Ghanaian embassy in Turkey, the body was recovered in the early hours of February 18th with the elder brother and twin sister of the player present at the site. 


Condolences have been extended to the widow and family of Christian Atsu while we wait for further updates on the matter.
