25 years after The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, the singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress continues to inspire as fans shower her with adoration and respect.
Ms. Lauryn Hill was spotted over the weekend at the Motown Museum which is home to the iconic Hitsville U.S.A. artifacts and memorabilia amongst other priceless possessions of legendary American record label and former home to legends like Michael Jackson and the queen of Motown, Diana Ross.
The Museum via its social media
platforms celebrated the visit of Ms. Hill and her family with a tweet that
read, “American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress
@MsLaurynHill visited Motown Museum on a private tour with her family. They loved
the experience and were all very thankful for the amazing tour.”
Fans took to the comment section of the post to give her flowers while others took the opportunity to reminisce on her debut solo album and the impact it had on them. Comments also poured concerning the outfit she sported to the museum.
Following the citing, there seem to be calls for Ms. Hill to make a comeback to music from fans who believe she still has gems to offer.
The museum located on Berry Gordy
Junior Boulevard is a monumental celebration of the cultural desegregation of
America marked by hits that changed lives and made people dance under the
supervision of Motown Records.
It serves as a reminder for the
preservation, promotion, and celebration of the Motown Story, its authenticity,
and its position as a platform for thinkers, creators, neighbours and
entrepreneurs to flourish.
