Renowned actress and television personality Naa Ashorkor is venturing into uncharted waters as she embarks on her inaugural journey as a director in the eagerly awaited theatrical production of THE LEGEND OF AKU SIKA by the esteemed Professor Martin Owusu. This remarkable endeavor is a collaborative effort between Image Bureau, April Communications, and the National Theatre, poised to dazzle audiences on June 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th at the National Theatre in a tribute to Professor Owusu.
Hailed as Ghana's Queen of the Stage, Naa Ashorkor is set to infuse the director’s role with her fervor and seasoned prowess. She will be working alongside George Quaye, the acclaimed director of Ola Rotimi’s THE GODS ARE NOT TO BLAME, promising a production that is both captivating and unforgettable.
Adding to the excitement, the production will showcase the stage debut of Adomaa Adjeman as the lead actress, Aku Sika.
