Olivia Rodrigo has taken a moment to reflect on her incredible Guts World Tour journey, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming experience. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter has been traveling the world, performing to sold-out crowds and receiving widespread critical acclaim.

Rodrigo's tour, supporting her platinum-selling debut album SOUR, kicked off in April and has since visited numerous cities across North America, Europe, and Asia. The artiste has been documenting her journey on social media, sharing heartfelt messages and behind-the-scenes glimpses into her life on the road.

One of the most meaningful stops on the tour was Rodrigo's first-ever show in the Philippines. The singer's mother is Filipino, and Olivia has often spoken about the significance of her Filipino heritage. For the fans in the crowd witnessing her deeply meaningful first-ever performance in the Philippines, the 21-year-old pop star who is half Filipina was certainly more than enough.

The crowd sang along to every word, demonstrating the profound connection between Rodrigo and her audience. In addition to making the Oct. 5 concert a Silver Star Show, allowing everyone in attendance to purchase seats for less than $30 in U.S. currency, Rodrigo also donated all the net ticket proceeds to Jhpiego, a charity with global reach providing life-saving care to combat cervical cancer, malaria, HIV, complications from pregnancy and childbirth, and more conditions.

Plus, the three-time Grammy winner visited the organization’s office in Manila to discuss women’s health and reproductive rights, both of which Rodrigo has championed throughout 2024 with her own Fund 4 Good.

Rodrigo has spoken highly of her Filipino roots and the influence they have had on her music. Her experience in Manila reinforced the importance of representation and cultural connection in her art. "Being able to share my music with the Filipino community was truly surreal," she said in an interview.

The Guts World Tour has been marked by numerous highlights, including Rodrigo's debut performances at Coachella and Glastonbury. Her setlists have featured fan favorites, as well as unexpected covers and surprises. Through her music, Rodrigo continues to foster a sense of community and belonging among her devoted fanbase.

Her thought-provoking lyrics, soaring vocals, and captivating stage presence have cemented her status as a rising star in the music industry. As Olivia Rodrigo continues to grow and evolve as an artiste, her devoted fanbase will undoubtedly remain by her side.
