Paul George Pauses Podcast P to Refocus Amid 76ers’ Nine-Game Losing Streak

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George has announced an indefinite hiatus from his podcast, Podcast P, to concentrate on improving team performance amid a challenging season. The 76ers recently suffered their ninth consecutive loss, falling 110-105 to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.  

George, who signed a $212 million contract with the 76ers this offseason, is experiencing his lowest scoring average since his second year in the league, contributing to the team’s current 20-38 record.  

In a recent episode of his podcast, George expressed his commitment to refocusing on basketball to help the 76ers overcome their struggles.  

The 76ers’ season has been further hampered by injuries to key players, including rookie Jared McCain and star center Joel Embiid, who is reportedly considering major surgery.  

Fans have voiced mixed reactions to George’s decision, with some questioning the timing given the team’s current standing.  

As the 76ers aim to halt their losing streak, George’s renewed focus on the court will be crucial in striving for a turnaround in the remaining season.
