Singer Sean Kingston was released from Broward County Jail on Tuesday evening after posting a $100,000 bond.
Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, was arrested on multiple charges including grand theft, fraud, criminal use of personal identification, and violation of probation for trafficking stolen property.
According to authorities, Kingston and his mother allegedly defrauded multiple businesses, totaling over $1 million. They also face grand theft charges for a Cadillac Escalade valued at $159,701, $480,000 worth of jewelry and a $86,568 bed.
Kingston's lawyer, Bob Rosenblatt, has expressed confidence in getting the charges dismissed and has requested a jury trial.
The 34-year-old singer, known for his hit singles BEAUTIFUL GIRLS and FIRE BURNING, was released from jail at around 9 pm on Tuesday.
Kingston's legal troubles began in 2020 when he was arrested for allegedly beating a music producer. He was later sentenced to probation, which he has since violated.
The case is ongoing, and Kingston is set to appear in court for a hearing.
