DIVORCED SISTAS
Tyler Perry is set to debut a new chapter in his acclaimed television universe with the premiere of DIVORCED SISTAS, a spinoff of the popular series SISTAS. The series will launch on BET on June 9th, coinciding with the 2025 BET Awards, and will be available for streaming on BET+ starting June 10th.

DIVORCED SISTAS follows the lives of five close friends—Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette—as they navigate the complexities of life, love, and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage, and dating. As they lean on each other through heartbreak and healing, their biggest test comes from within their own circle, challenging their loyalty, character, and true bond of sisterhood.

The ensemble cast features LeToya Luckett (Greenleaf) as Rasheda, Khadeen Indréa (Ellis Ever After) as Geneva, Porscha Coleman (Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!) as Naomi, Briana Price (Step Up: High Water) as Tiffany, and Jennifer Sears (Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Funeral) as Bridgette. Supporting roles include RonReaco Lee (Survivor’s Remorse), DeVon Franklin (Kingdom Business), Donovan Christie Jr. (Tyler Perry’s The Oval), and Robert Christopher Riley (Dynasty).

DIVORCED SISTAS marks the first original series under Perry’s expanded multiyear content partnership with BET Media Group. Tyler Perry serves as the creator, writer, director, and executive producer of the series.

Scott Mills, President and CEO of BET Media Group, praised Perry’s contributions, stating, “Tyler Perry has been the most incredible partner to BET—delivering record-breaking hits and top series year after year.” He added that Divorced Sistas is “a brilliant expansion of the Sistas universe.”

Tyler Perry expressed his enthusiasm for the new series, saying, DIVORCED SISTAS is a story of resilience and the power of female friendship. It is my hope that audiences will fall in love with these dynamic characters, and that they will be able to explore their own personal truths about healing and love in the process.”

As the second spinoff from the Sistas franchise, following Zatima, Divorced Sistas continues to explore themes of personal growth, relationships, and the complexities of modern life.

Divorced Sistas premieres on BET on June 9th and will be available for streaming on BET+ starting June 10th.
