Kelvin Vincent, Ghana’s savviest celebrity stylist, will supervise costuming and style for several of the performing cast at the 5th annual 3Music Awards.
The move will uplift the glitz, glamour, and grandiose of the 3Music Awards to world-class standards, in a quest to revolutionize African music fashion culture. It embodies a forcefully-driven campaign by the Awards to solidify its More than Music mantra by delivering a holistic music art experience to fans.
Also called Kelvincent, the fashion icon joins a tall, growing list of world-class experts in various fields of music and arts enrolled to help the Awards on its trajectory to become the most prestigious music event on the continent.
Poaching Vincent represents something of a major coup. His stature on the continent is massive. Apart from styling many of the continent’s finest celebs, he has also conceptualized several vintage celebrity images in the public domain.
He was behind the iconic portrait of female firebrands Becca, Berla Mundi, and Nana Akua Addo released on 6th March 2022 to mark Ghana’s Independence and commemorate International Women’s Day. He has also worked with elite stars like Toke Makinwa, Menaye Donkor, KiDi, Joselyn Dumas, Shatta Wale and Efya Nokturnal.
And now the Style God will be bringing what he does on normal days to the main night of the 3Music Awards ’22, Ghana’s most anticipated music celebration. A whole host of stars are expected to benefit from his creative prowess, including the curvy Mona 4Reall who this year became the first socialite to score an important music award.
The 5th annual 3Music Awards comes off at the Grand Arena on March 26, 2022. The event, known for its groundbreaking concepts and innovative productions, will premiere a Pre-show this year which will feature incredible performances as well as grand entrances of stars to the Drip Carpet.
Kelvin Vincent would be one of those stars. Sigh. We guess that means none of the other stars would be shinning bright enough on the Drip Carpet after all- unless of course he is styling them!
