The 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) is set to grace the screens on May 10th to 11th, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the African film industry. The announcement of this year’s dates came during a press conference held in Lagos, Nigeria, jointly presented by MultiChoice and Africa Magic. The event promises a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity, with the festivities commencing on May 10th with the Young Filmmakers and Content Creators awards in the morning, followed by the Cultural Day and Opening night extravaganza in the evening.
The main awards ceremony would take center stage on Sunday, May 11th in the evening, honoring the best and brightest talents in the African film industry while reaffirming the enduring power of storytelling to captivate hearts and minds across the continent and beyond.
