After a hiatus in 2023, the highly anticipated 3Music Awards is making a grand return in 2024. The exciting announcement was made at a press soiree held today at the Capitol Café and Restaurant in Labone, where industry insiders and media personalities gathered to witness the unveiling of this major event.

The press event was a spectacle in itself, drawing notable figures from various media outlets. Channel 1, formerly City TV, had a strong presence, with Kwadwo Sheldon, NYDJ, and other influential personalities in attendance. The gathering buzzed with excitement as attendees mingled and shared their anticipation for the awards’ return.

C-Real , the Brands and Marketing Manager at 3Music TV, took the stage to provide an overview of the brand's vision and initiatives. He captivated the audience with a presentation that included slides showcasing their various shows and activities. The highlight of his presentation was the official announcement of the 3Music Awards' comeback, detailing the reasons behind the previous year's break and the team's enthusiasm for the event's revival.

Madam Rashidatu Abdulai, the CEO followed with a brief yet impactful speech, elaborating on what fans and participants can expect from the 2024 edition. She emphasized that the awards would celebrate the theme Connecting Through Music, reflecting the power of music to bring people together. C-Real returned to reveal the new branding for the awards, showcasing innovative graphics and a refreshed logo that exudes a modern, technological vibe.

The press soiree was interactive, with several media personalities posing questions to the panel. Edem, an entertainment journalist, inquired about specific details of the event. Xerda raised questions regarding the voting process and the selection of nominees, while Kafui from Channel 1 sought more insights into the logistics and planning.

The panel, which included prominent figures like Jay Foley, Olele Salvador, and Mr. Edward Owusu, addressed these questions comprehensively. They assured the media that updates would be provided regularly and encouraged everyone to stay tuned to 3Music TV’s platforms for the latest news.

As the 3Music Awards gears up for its September 2024 event, the excitement continues to build. Although a specific date has not yet been disclosed, the announcement of the nominees is expected soon, adding to the anticipation.
