Afro-Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has opened up about the time his pregnant wife was stabbed during one of his 2017 concerts while she was carrying their first child.
The artiste recounted the challenging periods in his career, including the frightening moment when he thought he would lose his wife and child.
According to him, while he was performing on stage at the Ashaiman to the World Concert, his wife, Dr Louisa was stabbed and rushed to the hospital, but he had no option other than to remain on stage and continue performing.
"They cut my wife with a knife. Until today, I've been talking about the hazards of the job. The fans were there... what could I do? They carried her to the hospital, and I stayed and performed the whole show before I went to see her," he recounted.
"At that time, she was pregnant with my daughter, you understand? And that's just an example of the things we go through as people who dedicate ourselves to serving others."
He explained that the experience highlighted the dangers many performers face in their line of work.
