Mophty Frees His Mind In New Music

Ghanaian Highlife sensation Mophty has announced a new sound off his upcoming album to be released later this year.

The artiste was speaking on the Morning Bite of the Culture Daily show on 3Music TV and Pluzz 89.9 FM on Friday, August 21, 2026, sharing details about the new music titled Free Your Mind.

He shared that the song came from a deeply personal encounter that involved his mother who was hospitalized after an accident. 

“This song wasn't the actual song I wanted to release next after my mom’s issue. So, one day I was just inside and shout outs to Miraculous Beats, I chanced on one of his beats. And actually, while I heard the beat, the only thing that came on my head was like, ‘No, I need to really be free from whatever I'm going through with my mom because mentally to be honest, I wasn't good,” he revealed. 

Mophty also mentioned that he hopes to have a remix of the song for his EP with either Fameye or Medikal.
