Proud parents Rihanna and A$ap Rocky took to social media to celebrate a major milestone in the life of their first child, RZA revealing some never-before-seen baby photos.

The couple confirmed rumours that had been circulating for a while about the continued tradition of Hip hop names after Rocky took to Instagram to share a collection of photos with their firstborn, RZA, who was named after the founder of one of Hip hop’s most iconic groups, the Wu-Tang Clan who according to A$ap is a god.

“WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN.” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA,” he wrote in the caption after which he shared a clip of the late ODB’s history-making appearance at the 1998 Grammys where he crashed Shawn Colvin’s win, hopping on stage and screaming out the words, “Wu-Tang is for the children!” in the last slide.

After keeping the name of their baby a secret f0r almost a year, A$ap’s caption remains the first and only time the couple have publicly confirmed the name of their son. As revealed earlier by A$ap whose real name is Rakim another legendary rapper within the Hip hop culture, he reaffirmed the tradition of being named after legendary Hip hop artistes in the family.
