In a conversation with the Culture Squad on 3Music's Big Conversation, Adina Thembi opened up about numerous subjects from her personal life to her career as a musician. One of the most interesting things she spoke on was her relationship with Reggae-Dancehall Artiste, Stonebwoy and how their collaboration came about.
While speaking on the uniqueness of her sound and the music she puts out, she praised her A&R Kwame Fakye, who she revealed does an awesome job at identify the best fits as regards features for her songs.
According to her, she hinted at working with Stonebwoy in a radio interview which he found later and retweeted, leading to numerous mentions from the Bhim Natives, who are fans of Stonebwoy, ultimately leading to their connection and the collaboration.She also revealed that after they got together to work on the music, he inspired and pushed her to work on the melody which the song was borne out of.
