The latest CIES Football Observatory transfer value rankings, have been released, and African players are making waves in the football world. According to the scientific model, which assesses player values based on their performance and market demand, three African players have topped the list.
Mohammed Kudus, the Ghanaian attacking midfielder who plays for Ajax, leads the pack with an estimated transfer value of €40.2 million. Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese striker who plays for Villarreal, follows closely with a value of €37.3 million. Victor Boniface, the Nigerian striker who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, completes the top three with a value of €36.2 million.
Other African players feature prominently in the rankings, including Kamaldeen Sulemana (Ghana), Ibrahim Sangare (Ivory Coast), Manuel Benson (Ghana/Belgium), Moses Simon (Nigeria), Hakim Ziyech (Morocco), Alex Iwobi (Nigeria), and Andre-Franck Zambo Anguissa (Cameroon).
These rankings demonstrate the growing influence and talent of African players in the global football landscape. As the transfer market continues to evolve, it will be exciting to see how these players' values fluctuate and how they impact their teams' success.
