Ghanaian-francophone artiste Allan Harvey is set to release his second project of the year in the form of a two pack EP featuring BLR rapper A-Clipse titled In The City.
The project highlights Allan’s mental health and physical and emotional struggles that come with living life in the city of Accra where he grew up and still lives and is set to drop on the 20th of July 2023.
Allan writes and speaks on mental health challenges and unspoken mental issues and depression, street code and street knowledge, the human heart, peace of mind and the lack of it, love and love lost, oppression, injustice, corruption and almost everything from all his experiences growing up and at his current stage in life.
Allan Harvey describes specifically his mental struggle in track 1. Crooked Faith, where he flows with immaculate vibes but also deep felt words explaining where he is as a person and an artist currently and what goals he has in his vision and how far or close he is to them and how he has specifically worked his way to where he currently is and the flaws in that progress.
On Track 2. The City which features A-Clipse, Allan and A-clipse speak on the current hardships faced especially by themselves and many youth growing up in Accra currently and also throws shots at the Ruling Government and officials including Law enforcement for allowing the state of the nation to derail strongly and swiftly and for being the root cause of hardship or in other words allowing their selfish desires be more of value to them than the progress of the country they claim to serve.
Allan Harvey and GenieTheHomie founded Anchor Music under which all Allan Harvey's songs have been published. Anchor Music works in collaboration with art, fashion and music enthusiast group Camouflart.
Allan Harvey is also the 4th member of the Council of Elders in the Music Collective called The VVVVillage, which includes himself, Juma Mufasa, Kwesi Soul and PaPa Atey.
