Amerado's Management Takes Action Over Telecel Ghana Music Awards Nomination Snub

Robert Klah, who serves as the Head of Public Events and Communications at Charter House, recently disclosed that Amerado's management team has initiated contact with the organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) regarding an apparent snub in the nominations. This development comes in the wake of Amerado's vocal questioning on social media platforms regarding the absence of his hit song, KWEKU ANANSE, from the list of nominees unveiled on March 28. Notably, Amerado expressed puzzlement over why the original version of KWEKU ANANSE failed to secure a nomination, whereas the remix featuring Fameye earned recognition in the Best Collaboration category.

In response to Amerado's inquiry, Robert Klah commended the proactive approach taken by Amerado and his team in directly engaging with the award scheme's organizers to address the issue. Klah further highlighted that Amerado's team has formally submitted their concerns during a one-week window provided by the TGMA board to review and rectify any "errors and omissions" in the nominations. By doing so, Amerado and his team are leveraging the opportunity provided to ensure that KWEKU ANANSE receives due consideration for inclusion in the relevant categories.
