Brent Faiyaz Teases New Track MOVIE STAR Featuring Doechii

R&B icon Brent Faiyaz has ignited fan excitement by teasing a brand-new collaboration with rising star Doechii called MOVIE STAR.

The hint dropped on August 10th, 2025, when Faiyaz posted a screenshot of a text conversation showing the track’s title alongside Doechii’s name in his Instagram Story.

Fans have long speculated about the pair’s creative synergy ever since Brent shared a studio photo with Doechii back in March.

Although no official release date has been revealed for “movie star.,” it’s widely expected to be part of Brent Faiyaz’s upcoming third studio album, ICON, slated to drop on September 19th, 2025, coinciding with his birthday.

The collaboration also signals another milestone for Doechii, whose star has been rising this year after winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album and delivering standout performances alongside artistes like Jennie, The Weeknd, and Playboi Carti.

Together, Brent and Doechii’s collaboration on MOVIE STAR blends Faiyaz’s sultry, emotive R&B flair with Doechii’s bold, genre-blending energy, promising a track that could become an instant favorite.
