Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is no stranger to critics on social media, but her most recent exchange seems to almost have pushed her over the edge.
Following n a clash with a few X, formerly Twitter trolls early Wednesday morning, the rapper has admitted to having suicidal thoughts.
One user claimed Cardi was “the only Mexican I know that don’t work hard,” leading up to Cardi — whose father is Dominican and mother is a Trinidadian of African and Spanish descent — firing back writing: “Hope you and ur mom die.”
Other fans joined in the back and forth taking the opportunity to scold Cardi for her response warning her that karma could come back on her.
This response further upset the rapper who clapped back with: “IDGAF F*ck y’all … y’all can call me Mexican, bring me down and hurt my feelings talk sh** about everything that’s why I don’t release music.”
She then hinted at wanting to end it all, writing: “I just want to put a bullet in my head.”
She has since deleted her posts which have still gone viral on social media and prompting her sister, Hennessy Carolina, to come to her defense.
