Davido Collaborates With UnitedMasters to Create His Own Record Label

Nigerian superstar Davido is taking his career to new heights as he partners with UnitedMasters to launch his own record label, Nine+ Records. Under the guidance of music executive Steve Stoute, Davido is set to make a mark not only as an artiste but as a business mogul.

The collaboration between Davido and Stoute began at UnitedMasters SelectCon event last year, where Stoute saw the potential for Davido to expand his reach beyond Afrobeats and into various genres including hip-hop, R&B, Latin, and country. With the recent launch of UnitedMasters in Nigeria, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for Davido to start his own label.

Stoute, who has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, was impressed by Davido’s unique sound and the stories he tells through his music. He saw the opportunity for Davido to create a label that could rival the likes of Bad Boy, Death Row, and Cash Money, and wasted no time in convincing Davido to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

“I think the music that Davido has been able to make, produce and share with the world has been amazing,” Stoute says. “I see him as an entrepreneur that could build the next big label with significant impact.”

With Nine+ Records, Davido is set to not only showcase his own talent but also discover and nurture new artistes from around the world. The label will focus on creating a diverse roster of talent and making a global impact in the music industry.

Fans can expect to see a new side of Davido as he takes on the role of a music executive, shaping the future of Nine+ Records and leaving a lasting legacy in the music world. The partnership between Davido and UnitedMasters is sure to bring exciting new opportunities for artistes and music lovers alike.
