Nigerian artiste Morravey, 20-year-old Afro-fusion artiste, who recently signed with Davido's label, Sony Music, has been making waves with her latest EP, RAVI.
In an exclusive interview on UNPACKIN, Morravey opened up about her special relationship with Davido, describing it as a father-daughter bond. She expressed her gratitude for his unwavering support and belief in her talent.
Morravey talked about her journey, how she started writing songs in 2018, started posting songs in 2020 and how she recently started putting out her music in 2023. She also talked about how she was noticed and reached out to by Davido and described all as God's Grace upon her life.
RAVI THE EP
Morravey's EP, RAVI, features five captivating songs, including the hit track MAGICIAN, featuring Davido himself. The EP has already gained over 200k streams worldwide, showcasing the growing popularity of Morravey's unique sound.
She also stated that she was in Ghana to shoot a video for the song, MAGICIAN and that fans should expect the best from her.
On the UNPACKIN interview, Morravey expressed her admiration for Ghanaian artistes Gyakie and Olive the Boy. She revealed her desire to collaborate with them in the future, bringing together the best of Nigerian and Ghanaian music.
With her infectious Afro-fusion style and the backing of industry heavyweight Davido, Morravey is undoubtedly a rising star to watch out for.
