The Ton is abuzz once more. On Wednesday, Netflix officially teased the highly anticipated fourth season of Bridgerton, set to premiere in 2026 with eight episodes of romance, secrets, and scandal, this time centering on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson.

Season 4 will draw from Julia Quinn’s third novel An Offer from a Gentleman, and follows the artistic, free-spirited Benedict as he crosses paths with a captivating stranger at a masquerade ball, a woman cloaked in silver and mystery.



“Benedict is loath to settle down. That is, until an enthralling woman captures his attention,” Netflix revealed in its official announcement. The woman in question is Sophie Beckett, or rather, Sophie Baek, as reimagined for the screen, portrayed by Yerin Ha. Unknown to Benedict, Sophie is not a noblewoman but a resourceful maid harboring secrets of her own and daring dreams far beyond her station.

The masquerade, deception, and slow-burn romance promise a Cinderella-esque twist within the beloved regency universe. With Shondaland’s signature opulence and storytelling finesse, fans can expect a season rich in emotional stakes, dazzling costumes, and scandalous whispers.

Adding to the excitement, Netflix also confirmed that Bridgerton has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6, ensuring the stories of the remaining siblings will continue to unfold in grand fashion.

Prepare your fans and fainting couches, dear reader — for Benedict’s heart is about to be unmasked.
