Drake Expects Gratitude from His ‘Sons’

Over the weekend, Canadian rapper Drake took to his Instagram to boast his influence in the rap game.

In an Instagram post of him and his dog captioned “A lot of them boys you entertain wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me so don’t forget to wish me a happy father’s day on June 18^th” , the rapper seemed to be making a claim to how much of an influence he has had in the rap game as well as his relevance.

This comes some time after the release of Billboard’s Greatest Rappers of All Time list on which he was ranked number 8 in addition to submissions by actor Michael B. Jordan and rapper Jim Jones who have also alluded to him as that.

After sharing his thoughts on Drake’s relevance and impact in the rap game in an interview with Complex, Jim Jones’ pictures were reposted by the former along a photo of himself wearing a Dipset jacket as though to show appreciation for the nod given him.
