Drake aficionados are buzzing with anticipation, stirring up speculation about a potential Kendrick Lamar diss track, all thanks to Drake's longtime collaborator, Boi-1da.
The OVO Sound maestro, who played a pivotal role in producing all three of Drake’s previously released diss tracks, sent fans into a frenzy with a cryptic message on X.
Adding fuel to the fire, Boi-1da shared an Instagram Stories snap of Drake whispering in his ear, setting imaginations ablaze.
One fan responded to the tantalizing posts, exclaiming: “Drake’s about to drop some heat. It’s confirmed,” while another pondered: “Round 2, perhaps?”
A third fan chimed in with excitement: “When Boi-1da tweets, you know something’s brewing!”
Speculations ran wild, with some suggesting Boi-1da's involvement in Eminem’s upcoming single HOUDINI, slated for release this Friday May 31, or NAV’s forthcoming album ON MY WAY 2 REXDALE.
However, Boi-1da seemed to pour cold water on the rumors, leaving a comment on Akademiks' Instagram post that read: “Come on, guys, LOL.”
Drake had seemingly called it quits on his feud with Kendrick Lamar after dropping THE HEART PART 6 earlier this month.
Following the reception of K. Dot’s NOT LIKE US, widely regarded as the standout track of the feud, Drake posted an illustration depicting a Japanese samurai confronting a formidable cavalry—a nod to the “20 vs. 1” theme from his earlier diss track PUSH UPS.
Accompanying the artwork, he teased, “Good times. Summer vibes up next,” hinting at moving past the rivalry and focusing on his upcoming album.
On THE HEART PART 6, a track that divided fans and critics alike, Drake vehemently denied Kendrick’s insinuations of wrongdoing.
“I’ve never been involved with anyone underage, but I now understand why you’re fixated on this angle. For the record, I find it repulsive. I have too much integrity. If I were involved with minors, I’d have been arrested by now,” he asserted.
