Feelings of Raevin: Rising Star Raevin Opens Up on His Bold Debut EP
Raevin
Ghanaian singer Raevin is making a powerful entrance into the music scene with his debut six-track EP, Feelings of Raevin. The vibrant project, executive produced by Grammy-nominated hitmaker Killbeatz is a soulful exploration of love, identity, and growth through Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Highlife soundscapes.

Appearing on The Culture Daily Morning Show, Raevin revealed how his creative aesthetic connects with the EP’s emotional depth. “When I dropped FIRE, it was gold; FEVER was silver. Now, for Feelings of Raevin, we went colorful,” he explained, notably debuting ribbons in his hair—a visual metaphor for the spectrum of feelings that define his work.

Growing up in Worawora in Ghana’s Oti Region, Raevin’s musicality was rooted in church choirs and an early fondness for instruments. He later sang in Sunday school and balanced gospel with secular sounds like Highlife and reggae—shaping his eclectic artistry.
The stage name “Raevin” emerged creatively from his given name, forming a personal identity around his music.

Raevin’s transition from passionate hobbyist to emerging professional was spontaneous yet powerful. What began as a studio visit for a friend turned into recording a track that spread quickly through WhatsApp and caught his community’s attention. It made him realize his talent could—and should—go public.

In 2022, he attended a mass listening event hosted by Legacy Life Entertainment alongside Crux Global, where he impressed producers with his ability to write and record—creating five songs in one day. This led to his signing with the label and accelerated his growth significantly.

Signed to Legacy Life Entertainment in partnership with Crux Global, Raevin is poised to grow his presence locally and globally. His goal? To connect, inspire, and take Ghanaian music to the world.
