The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved a special match to be played in honour of former President John Agyekum Kufuor as part of the activities to celebrate the 85th birthday Anniversary.
The match, the Kufour cup, organized by the John Agyekum Kufour Foundation will take place at 3pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The foundation requested permission from the GFA to host the match, which will feature teams, Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC. The foundation received an approval to go on with the match today.
The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 games involving Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC have been rescheduled due to the Kufour Cup.
