Lil Wayne Set To Go On Tour
For the first time in almost four years, five-time Grammy Award winning Rap icon Lil Wayne is set to go on a headline tour. The “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour was announced on Tuesday, January 31 and is reportedly a collaboration between the rapper, his label, Young Money, Rolling Loud and Live Nation. The tour is set to happen in 28 cities and kicks off on the 4th of April 2023.
According to XXLmag, the announcement was made after news circulating that the beloved rapper is set to be honored with the Global Impact Award at the Recording Academy’s upcoming Black Music Collective event later this week along with Dr. Dre and Missy Elliot.

With a career spanning over two decades clad in numerous accomplishments, hits, records and awards, it is no surprise that the rapper is being accorded such an honor. Additionally, the rapper teased possible release of a highly anticipated Tha Carter VI album which he confirmed at a Young Money Reunion last year.
