Marian Robinson, the mother of former First Lady Michelle Obama, has passed away at the age of 86. The cause of death has not been disclosed.


Marian Robinson was a constant source of support and strength for the Obama family throughout their time in the White House and beyond. She was often referred to as the "First Grandmother" during Barack Obama's presidency, and was known for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to her family.


Michelle Obama has often spoken publicly about the significant influence her mother had on her life, crediting her with instilling the values of hard work, education, and family that have guided her throughout her career.


Marian Robinson is survived by her two children, Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson. 


The Obama family has not yet released a statement, but tributes are pouring in from around the world as people remember Marian Robinson's remarkable life.
