President Akufo-Addo Takes Decisive Action, Sacks SSNIT CEO Amid Governance Concerns

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made a bold move by removing Dr. John Ofori-Tenkorang from his position as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). This decision aims to revamp the state-owned pension fund and enhance its effectiveness.

Dr. Ofori-Tenkorang's dismissal follows a string of controversies during his tenure at SSNIT, including allegations of financial mismanagement and governance issues.
