Remains Of Demised Ghanaian Footballer Christian Atsu Arrive In Ghana
Following a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration on Sunday morning pertaining to arrangements by the government of Ghana to receive the mortal remains of demised former Black Stars player Christian Atsu, the body has finally touched down at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday 19th February 2023 at 7:40 p.m accompanied by his family and Ghana's Ambassador to Turkey.
Remains of Christian Atsu At K.I.A
Accompanied by officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, joined family of the deceased to receive his body from the Turkish Airlines after a brief ceremony was conducted.
Also present were Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Information Minister, Deputy Sports Minister, EVans Bobie Opoku and members of the Ghana Supporters Union.
