Federal authorities conducted raids on two properties owned by Sean Combs on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of sex trafficking. The operation, spearheaded by Homeland Security, comes on the heels of accusations leveled by Combs' ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie, just four months ago.

Interestingly, Combs was not present during the raids, reportedly being in Florida at the time. However, officials seized his mobile phones as part of the investigation. This action took place just before the Bad Boy Records executive was set to embark on a trip to the Caribbean.

The public scrutiny intensified following Cassie's allegations of physical and sexual abuse against Combs, which she detailed in a lawsuit filed late last year in New York. This legal action was made possible by the New York Adult Survivors Act, providing a one-year window for adult victims of sexual assault to pursue civil claims regardless of the statute of limitations.

Douglas Wigdor, legal representative for Cassie and another individual involved in the lawsuit, expressed hope that the raids and subsequent investigation would mark the beginning of holding Combs accountable for his alleged actions. He emphasized his support for law enforcement's efforts to prosecute those who have violated the law.

The developments surrounding the investigation have sparked significant interest and concern among fans and observers, awaiting further updates on the situation.
