Ghanaian superstar and pioneer of Afro-Dancehall, Stonebwoy, with an infectious mashup of Reggae, Dancehall and Fusions from Africa, unveiled the cover art and tracklist of 5TH DIMENSION, his aptly named fifth career album which is scheduled to hit stores on April 28th via Def Jam Recordings.
In addition to his current single More Of You, 5TH DIMENSION will also include Life & Money featuring Stormzy, the album’s lead single produced by British-Ghanaian producer JAE5. The scorching song exemplifies Stonebwoy's skillful blend of Reggae, Hip hop, Afrobeat and Trap music, which has made him one of Africa's most significant new young performers. Together with other performers, the 5D album also features Davido, Angelique Kidjo, Shaggy and Mereba.
Stonebwoy is an award-winning superstar who has been placing the continent firmly on the musical map with international touring, standout collaborations and hugely popular singles since 2012. He has collaborated with a variety of worldwide musicians, including Trey Songz, Burna Boy, Alpha Blondie, Keri Hilson, Sean Paul and many more. Stonebwoy has performed on a number of prestigious stages across the globe, including the 2019 Rotom Sunsplash Festival in Spain, the 2020 Afro Nation Festival in Puerto Rico, the 2021 Yam Carnival in the UK and most recently the 2022 FIFA Fan Festival in Qatar.
Among Stonebwoy's various honours include the BET Awards' Best International Act: Africa, the Ghana Music Awards' Artiste of the Year and two Billboard Awards. He has made history by becoming the first musician from Ghana to reach 100 million Audiomack streams. Stonebwoy's social media presence, with over 4 million Instagram followers and 3 million Facebook followers, has also helped him connect with fans worldwide.
