Transport Ministry Talks Fare Increase with GPRTU Today

Today, the Transport Ministry is sitting down with the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) to chat about a possible 20% bump in transport fares. This convo comes after GPRTU sent in a request, saying they need the increase because of higher costs and the COVID-19 situation hitting them hard.

This idea of hiking up fares has got people talking! Some folks are worried about how it might squeeze their wallets even more, while others think maybe there's a better way to go about it to keep things fair for everyone.
