Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia extends sympathy and support to John Peasah, famously known as Drogba, an actor from the series YOLO, who has been diagnosed with demyelination. Drogba's condition, which affects the protective covering of nerves, causing issues with vision, movement, and sensation, prompted the Vice President to visit him at his home on Tuesday, March 12th, offering condolences and assistance for his treatment. A video of the visit, shared on X, shows the Vice President being warmly received by the actor's family members. Fellow actor Jeffrey Nortey announced Drogba's diagnosis, urging for support and financial aid. Demyelinating diseases damage the myelin sheath surrounding nerve fibers in the brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord, leading to neurological complications. Drogba, also known as Blah Charles in the YOLO series, portrays a character known for his pursuit of love interests. YOLO, a Ghanaian teenage TV series launched in 2016, serves as a guide for youth navigating challenges during their adolescent years, following the legacy of the previous Ghanaian series, THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE.
