In a deal valued at an initial €41.5 million (£35.59 million), with an extra €3 million (£2.57 million) contingent on performance-related factors, West Ham secures Kudus' services amid interest from another undisclosed Premier League club that made a late attempt to secure his signature on Saturday. Despite the last-minute approach, Kudus expressed his firm decision to join West Ham.

Kudus, expressing his enthusiasm, stated, "Since I was a child, I've dreamed of playing in a league like this. This moment is a realization of that dream, and I am elated to be a part of it. However, this is just the beginning for me; I am committed to pushing forward and giving my best."

Donning the No. 14 jersey, Kudus, who demonstrated his talent by scoring four goals in six Champions League group-stage matches for Ajax last season, revealed his eagerness to entertain fans and contribute to the team's success.
