Black Stars Arrive U.S. Ahead Of FIFA World Cup

According to the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars have arrived in the United States in order to continue preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.  


The squad left Cardiff  on Wednesday afternoon  and arrived in Washington, D.C. at approximately 9 p.m. local time.


Upon arrival, they were greeted by the Ghana High Commission staff in Washington as the team moves into the last stage of World Cup preparations. 


Ghana and Wales drew 1-1 on Tuesday night, and going into the competition, they hope to take encouragement from their performance.


In order to refine tactics before the World Cup, which begins on June 11, Carlos Queiroz's team will resume training on Thursday.
